    Regional Partnership Strategic Pivot

    When I arrived at DC CAP, I ran an evaluation of our university partnerships, and the evidence drove a pivot to a regional model built on shared retention and affordability goals with each partner. 76% of Class of 2021 scholars in our flagship program earned a degree within five years, with partner campuses ranging from 57% to 100%.

    I built the matching algorithm DC CAP runs each year to pair scholars with partner universities on mutual preferences, student-first. In 2026, 83.5% of matched scholars landed their top-choice partner.

    Enterprise AI Governance Framework

    I designed DC CAP's AI Governance Framework, including a four-tier data-classification standard, and ran the 60-day pilot that introduced it to nine staff. All nine leaders who completed my leadership course improved on our AI fluency assessment.

    As the second member of Common App's founding research team, I helped build the analytics environment for the largest college application dataset in the country, paired public reporting with university research partnerships, and led Common App's side of a randomized trial of direct admissions.

    As an IES Fellow on the UVA–Louisiana Department of Education research-practice partnership (2017–2020), I worked with state policymakers and district leaders on accountability systems, with studies published in AERA Open and Early Childhood Research Quarterly.
